Finally finished writing and recording five songs for an LJ meme. It’s a little mini-album called Friendly Songs.

Here’s a mash-up I made that I decided not to submit to Remix Fight! because it’s not technically a remix. Don’t let the fact that it’s categorized under ‘Remixes’ fool you! Maybe I should just go ahead and make a mash-up category, eh?

The new Remix Fight! is up. Currently up for voting are remixes of MC Frontalot’s Braggadocio. I’ve done a mix, which is why I’m bothering to post about it here.

High Density (moboid and I for those who’ve forgotten) were recently at Song Fight! Live in Santa Cruz and we wrote a song for the live fight. It didn’t go super smooth so we decided to do a proper recorded version for submission to the website. You can listen to this live version courtesy of Ken.

Although I neglected to make any sort of announcement about it, moboid and I headed to Santa Cruz last week for Song Fight! Live: High and Dry in Santa Cruz. Glenn Case shot some video and then promptly uploaded it all to YouTube.

I had the idea for this mash-up while listening to the Devo song on the bus.

This is a remix I made as part of a chain remix that never really got finished. The idea was to have the first person remix the original song and then the next person remix the remix and so on until all participants had made a mix. However, it kind of died after like two people, I think.

My remix is a remix of this remix by Heuristics Inc.

I’ve been a little annoyed about my site’s design for a while. Finally got around to changing it. Hopefully I won’t be sued for the menu script. I plan to post some old songs in the next few days to make up for the fact that I nuked the old audio page. Hell, maybe this will even motivate me to record some new songs.
