I decided what I want to do for my next album. It will be called Chounge Tunes. It will be lounge-ish songs but with chip tune style arrangements. With luck, it will be more than just a pipe dream (that was a Super Mario Bros. joke, get it?).

I’ve been a little annoyed about my site’s design for a while. Finally got around to changing it. Hopefully I won’t be sued for the menu script. I plan to post some old songs in the next few days to make up for the fact that I nuked the old audio page. Hell, maybe this will even motivate me to record some new songs.

A compilation album of music by metafilter members is being produced and one of my songs is on it (The Importance of Good Leadership from A Maze of Death, to be exact)! As an included artist, I am doing my duty and, uh, pimping the product here. They are taking pre-orders to generate seed money to produce the thing. It’s going to be professionally mastered and packaged, so presumably it will look and feel like a real CD. Profits will be given to charity, though they haven’t named which one yet. So go place an order and own a piece of internet history.

Uh, I guess it’s pretty obvious that I changed the layout a bit. For those of you using MSIE, you are missing out on a hella cool banner background because IE doesn’t display PNGs correctly. Switch to Firefox already, why dontcha?

I’ve switched the site over to WordPress 1.5 and I’m pretty happy with it so far. It’s a bit more complicated than MT or Blogger but very flexible. The next big step is to convert the MOD Diary into actual blog posts.
EDIT: MOD Diary is taken care of. It’s got its own category and everything.

Ok, it’s not much of a new look. I just added a bunch of style-sheet crap to make stuff easier to modify later and to make it look right in Firefox (which I just switched over to from MSIE). Comments have been enabled. Huzzah!

I’ve done it. I’ve made the switch. The news feed for this website is now a blog. All news items previous to this one have been deleted because who the fuck cares about those.
