I’ve been a little annoyed about my site’s design for a while. Finally got around to changing it. Hopefully I won’t be sued for the menu script. I plan to post some old songs in the next few days to make up for the fact that I nuked the old audio page. Hell, maybe this will even motivate me to record some new songs.

Comments:

Even if Apple were litigious about Dock-esque things, that menu behaves so differently to the actual Dock that I doubt they’d care, except that you’re kind of besmirching it. (The real Dock magnifies more than just the icon right under the cursor, and all elements are always affixed on a common side. Your emulation of it just seems really twitchy and unfluid by comparison.)

Also the post/clear icons are fairly inscrutable.

Well, I blame my inability to emulate it better on the fact that I don’t own a Mac. As for the post/clear icons, they do have alt/title text so that if you float over them you’ll get a description of their function. Glad I can count on you for constructive criticism. :-p

Oh, also wanted to mention, I think part of the reason for the twitch is that my magnification curve is not a good one. I’m using a quarter arc of an ellipse, which is better than a straight line, but apparently not much.

EDIT: Actually, I just did some experimenting and it seems, to my eyes at least, that a linear progression is the smoothest. So, that’s been changed.

lookin good! and anything that would encourage you to record more new songs is OK in my book.
