Over the past four days I have made significant progress. I now have music-ready lyrics for “Settlement Whore”, “We Are All Addicts”, “Simple Communication”, and “Give Me The Gun”. I have finished the first draft of the music for “Addicts” and am about half-way finished with the first draft music for “Simple Communication”. I might record a demo version of “Delmak-O” in the next few days just to have another Musical Offering.

During our first month in Montreal, Moboid and I were staying in a hotel room to give us time to look for an apartment. I felt very uninspired by my surroundings, watched a lot of CNN, and worked on the album very little. The few times I managed to make myself work on the lyrics I wrote rough drafts for “Simple Communication”, a song detailing the exchange between Susie and Tony before she dies, and for “We Are All Addicts”, a song about the various addictions of the individuals on Delmak-O.
